In an effort to provide help for troubled teens, White Rock Academy has been established to provide a therapeutic school at a low cost. The main goal of this academy is to help troubled teens realize their own personal value and how they can make changes to improve their lives and feel more competent about themselves.

White Rock Academy is focused on helping teens achieve the values that help them grow and improve through service and hard work. Many of these activities involve caring for various animals. They help troubled teens aging from 11-18 that struggle with a variety of problems including: substance abuse, anger problems, running away from home, problems resulting from parent’s divorce, hanging out with the wrong crowd, defiant attitudes, shoplifting, etc.

White Rock Academy is experienced with what works and what doesn’t when it comes to helping troubled teens. They understand that is can be ineffective to try and help a troubled teen through traditional outpatient methods. Instead they use a more up-to-date method that allows the teens to achieve their potential through things like a positive peer culture, equine assisted psychotherapy, and assistance from the community. The programs available at White Rock Academy include all areas requiring attention to help your troubled teen in the most effective way possible.
